H&B has a history of giving. Specifically in the area of Conservation and Animal Welfare. Around 10% of company profit is allocated to our Philanthropy Budget.

Giving is targeted at smaller, often overlooked Animal welfare charities where most of the donation is actually spent directly on specific welfare rather than on administration and overheads. Local charities such as Edgars Mission, Project Hope, Save A Dog Scheme, Animal Liberation Victoria are supported by the company. International Charities such as the Goza SPCA, Animal Aid Udaipur, Bali Animal Welfare, Save the Bears are also charities that have benefitted.

One of our internal initiatives which we started in 2002 was “Fly for Charity”. The company will only ever purchase Economy tickets. The cost difference between the Economy and Business ticket is added to the Philanthropic budget. As frequent international flyers, this adds substantially to this budget.
